Durham Tech has been participating in the NC Space Grant High Altitude Ballooning Competition for the last three years. This year's team, the Disco Beckies 44, is hoping to fly a low cost, experimental unit that will improve the sample size for gas collection sensors without creating a pressure vessel. 

 

They are working hard to meet all of their milestones before the big launch in April.
